Parent Feedback

I am writing to express my sincere gratitude to all the staff who work at little acorns nursery. My daughter started in the ‘little innovators’ room in January, Sarah and her team did everything possible to make the translation from home care to the nursery setting much easier. We had numerous visits throughout December including a home visit off the room leader and my daughters key worker. she has settled in so well and I have been kept up to date with all her observations and assessments made by the staff in her room. This is a key part for me as I have worked in education for over 10 years and it is very comforting to know that my child is at the correct mile stone in all areas or in some exceeding. I have been given copies of all observations that have been carried out and shown visual evidence of the outcomes.

I cannot praise Emma enough (deputy manager) who is currently my daughters keyworker, Her professionalism and enthusiasm towards her work and the children is wonderful to see. She is extremely dedicated and it has been very reassuring to have room leader with such a high level of experience. We are greeted every morning with a smile and all staff make the effort to say good morning, there is something comforting when all staff know your child’s name and ask how her morning has been when she is leaving for the day. This is a key factor of why we would highly recommend little acorns to others.

Over the last few weeks we have had some unexpected family news. I cannot express how supportive Sarah and her team have been by supporting us with extra sessions and my daughters well being. They really do go the extra mile and it is greatly appreciated. I hope you see how little acorns isn’t just a ‘nursery’ and that in fact it is a family. After looking around several nurseries in this area I couldn’t find any fault in little acorns, from outside learning to lots of exploration based play, it really is every parent’s dream of a community support network that they need.
